Booking Terms & Conditions

Our Terms & Definitions

In these Terms & Conditions, the following terms are defined as:

  • "We," "Our," and "Us" refer to A1 Teaching & Learning Ltd.

  • "You" and "Your" refer to the person or organization making the booking and/or the learner or candidate.

Cancellations

Due to costs we incur—such as awarding body registration fees and e-learning licenses—we cannot offer cash refunds on any bookings. Instead, we provide refunds in the form of course credit toward a future course. The amount of course credit depends on the cancellation notice you provide, as detailed in the "Rescheduling" section below.

This policy does not affect your statutory right to cancel within 14 days of placing your order, in accordance with the 'Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013'. For partially paid orders, the full payment remains due by the invoice's due date.

If you start any e-learning courses within this 14-day period, that portion is non-refundable, and you waive your right to cancellation. By accessing or starting any e-learning, you acknowledge that a reasonable deduction will be made from any course refund to cover these costs. If you have paid using a credit or debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal, you also acknowledge that a reasonable deduction may be made to cover third-party merchant fees already incurred by A1 Teaching & Learning Ltd.

Rescheduling

If you cannot attend a booked course and wish to transfer to a later one, we allow you to carry over course credit. For partially paid orders, the full payment is still due by the invoice's due date. The amount of course credit offered depends on the notice you give and is at the sole discretion of A1 Teaching & Learning Ltd, as detailed below:

  • 22 or more days before the course start date: 100% course credit can be transferred to a new course.

  • 15–21 days before the course start date: 75% course credit can be transferred.

  • 8–14 days before the course start date: 50% course credit can be transferred.

  • 0–7 days before the course start date: 25% course credit can be transferred.

Late Arrival / No-Show / Failure to Attend Training

Punctuality is crucial due to minimum contact time and guided learning hours set by the awarding organizations. We have a zero-tolerance policy for lateness—you will be turned away from the training center without a refund or future credit.

Non-attendance of any course, for any reason, is considered a cancellation without notice, and no refund will be issued. For unpaid or partially paid courses, the full payment remains due.

Failure to Complete Required Study Materials

If you attend a course without satisfactorily completing the required e-learning, pre-learning, home-study, or self-study materials—as specified in your pre-course joining instructions and required by awarding organization regulations—we reserve the right to cancel your course and turn you away from the training center. No refund will be issued.

Failure to Provide Adequate Proof of Identity Documents

If you attend a course and fail to provide adequate proof of identity—as specified in your pre-course joining instructions and required by awarding organization regulations—we reserve the right to cancel your course and turn you away from the training center. No refund will be issued.

Exam Failure / Re-Sits

If you unfortunately fail one or more of your exams, you will need to return to the training center for a re-sit. A re-sit fee of £78.00 must be paid before any re-sits are taken.
